Based upon the short story "TERPSI", the TERPSICHORE (pronounced turp-sic-or-ee) movie may have become the absolute definition of eclectic.
The movie combines legend, sci-fi, music, dance, beauty, and even
envelopes non-traditional methods of healing. We get to see that emotional and spiritual healings are integral to a modern holistic clinic in the southwest USA; and that the same clinic uses music and dance as therapies.
Early on, in the movie, we are introduced to a practitioner, one who is new to the clinic. But being new to the clinic indicates nothing about her abilities. She is not new to such healings. In fact, in this entire world, she may have the longest history of applying music and dance therapies to what is now called humanity.
That is the premise for this unique little film. Add to that a 3000 year old coin, an obsessive coin collector and his dysfunctional family, out-of-body mystical experiences and in-body top notch dance sequences.
From its inception, this cinema piece has had and continues to have both fantasies and very long list of real enchantments guiding its path...

The Terpsichore Trailer
Top: A drawing of what Terpsichore's makeup was to look like for the last, climactic, dance of the movie. It was done 05/2007.
Bottom: Serena Pullen (11/2007) in her makeup for that last dance of the movie Terpsichore.
After four hours of preparation, the resemblance to the original drawing (plan) is quite striking. This is only one of many such uncanny events associated with the filming of Terspsichore.
